Haymarket Riot

There was a riot last night in Haymarket Square.  Many people were killed and injured.  8 police officers and several civilians were killed.  Many police officers were injured as well as around 100 civilians.

The riot was just supposed to be a protest of the killing of two workers the night before.  When the police arrived someone threw a bomb and killed those 8 officers.  The police responded by firing into the crowd.

8 anarchists were arrested and convicted of conspiracy.  There was no hard evidence against them however.

Sliced Bread!

Thank you to the veterans

Thank you to all the veterans that have risked their lives for our freedom.  I am thankful for all they have done for our country. Its nice to be in a country where we have the freedoms that we do.  It's nice to be able to go to school and get an education.  Some countries don't have those freedoms and i'm glad to live in a country where we can.

New Laptops

The new laptops are just a good deal all around.  Won't be having to go to the lab all the time which is always nice.  I like to listen to some tunes too so that'll be great.  It's just a good thing for everybody.

BECOME A RANCHER

I need some help on my ranch. Mining is dangerous.  You don't want to be mining nowadays.  Cave ins are happening more and more every day.  Health problems can erupt from breathing the dangerous gases.  Don't work for the railroad either.  The railroad is a dream and we know it.  It won't amount to anything.  We do some hard work but it is pretty safe.  The normal rate for a ranch hand is 50 cents a day.  Come to me and i'll pay 75 cents.  You have to be able to ride a horse and handle my cattle.  We will work from sunup to sundown.  Come on down and become a rancher today.

So my wife needed some brown sugar the other day so i thought ok might as well take a trip to alabama to get some of it maybe check out the scenery.  So I go down there and ugh all i see is burnt down buildings and its just really an eyesore.  Anyway according to Andrew Johnson we're going to rebuild her better than ever.  Johnson favors a lenient approach to reconstruction. His belief is that the nation will be best served by leaving the brutality of the Civil War behind quickly. Radical Republicans led by Thadeaus Stevens, argue that the South will be punished for starting the Civil War. I think the dispute would lead to an attempt to impeach and remove President Johnson.  You just never know though.
